(The Balkanlight 2024 conference will be held within the Light + Intelligent Building Fair, which will be organized for the first time in Istanbul by Frankfurt Messe)

The conference venue is very close to Taksim which is the central area where you can go to many places very easily using the train, bus and metro. There are lots of hotels around Taksim. About Balkanlight

The Balkan Light 2024 is the 8th Balkan Light Conference with the special topic “Future of Lighting: Efficient and Intelligent” and will take place in Istanbul, Türkiye. Balkan Light Conferences have been held every 3 years and serve as the premier Balkan and international forum in the field of lighting. However, the 8th Balkan Light Conference will be held 6 years later due to the pandemic and economic difficulties. Previous Balkan Light conferences have been held in the following years and locations: 


1999 - Varna, Bulgaria

2002 - Istanbul, Türkiye

2005 - Cluj-Napoca, Romania

2008 - Ljubljana, Slovenia

2012 - Belgrade, Serbia

2015 - Athens, Greece

2018 - Sofia, Bulgaria & Varna, Bulgaria
2024 - İstanbul, Türkiye
 

This year, the Balkan Light 2024 will be organized at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Centre on 28-29 November 2024, hosted by the Turkish National Committee on Illumination (ATMK). The Light + Intelligent Building Istanbul fair will be held on 27-29 November 2024 in the same venue as the conference.
